The Prostate Focal Therapy Institute was founded by urologist José Sanches de Magalhães, a specialist in urology, with extensive experience in oncological pathologies. It is dedicated to monitoring urological pathologies with the support of a multidisciplinary team for personalized treatment for each clinical situation.

Our clinical experience in Urology and Urology Oncology comes from years of clinical practice in several health units of reference, namely at the Portuguese Institute of Oncology of Porto (IPO-Porto). Consult us, either for a diagnostic exam or to evaluate any symptoms - we will evaluate each case in a personalized way and with the greatest care.
In the case of Prostate Cancer treatment, we evaluate with each patient the treatment solution that best suits their situation and clinical history.
We were among the first to implement Laparoscopic Surgery and pioneers in Portugal in the use of the IRE / Nanoknife technique to treat Prostate Cancer.
